    From the Visitor Center, it’s just a short walk across the pedestrian bridge to the Revolutionary City. Read the timeline plaques along the Footbridge to the Past as you make your transition to and from the 18th century. Ticketed guests may also ride complimentary shuttle buses to the Revolutionary City and museums.

Run for the Dream 2013
Participate in the third annual Run for the Dream and support two great causes: Wounded Warriors and An Achievable Dream. The event features an 8K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run on Saturday, June 1 and a half marathon on Sunday, June 2. Both courses wind through the Revolutionary City, parts of downtown Williamsburg, and the College of William & Mary's campus. Take advantage of the special room rates being offered for race participants at the Williamsburg Woodlands Hotel & Suites, Governor's Inn, and Williamsburg Lodge.
