  • Listen my Children

    Monday: Listen My Children

    Storytellers share tales and some of the same legends that entertained families of centuries past. An event for your entire family. 6:30 p.m. at the Backyard of R. Charlton's Coffeehouse (Also on Friday)

  • Crime and Punishment

    Tuesday: Crime and Punishment

    Walk your way through 18th-century legal punishments. Costumed interpreters will brief you on the crimes and punishments of colonial justice. Every 15 minutes from 7-to 9 p.m. at the Secretary's Office.

  • Actors in disarray

    Wednesday: The Great Theatrical Disaster of 1790

    Mr. Murdock's production company prepares their production of "The Old Maid." But, in true Murdock style, tensions and difficulties emerge! 7:30 p.m. at the Kimball Theatre

  • African American music

    Thursday: African American Music

    Musical expressions were a centerpiece of the 18th-century African American community. We have preserved the tradition of the unique rhythms, songs, and dances from the West African people. 6 and 7:30 p.m. at Great Hopes Plantation

  • Revolutionary Points of View

    Saturday: Revolutionary Points of View

    Meet three people of the past who will share common public opinions on independence. Then join them and engage in the most important debate in our nation's history. Ages 13 and up.

  • Pirates Amongst Us

    Saturday: Pirates Amongst Us

    Meet ghosts and ghouls of Blackbeard's crew. A walking tour beginning every 15 minutes. Ages 10 and up.

  • Capitol Concert

    Sunday: Capitol Concert

    Celebrate an evening of harpsichord music with Williamsburg's premier 18th-century musicians. Enjoy selections popular in Williamsburg more than 200 years ago. 7 and 8 p.m. at the Capitol
