Another fun way to experience the Historic Area and its surroundings is by bicycle. Stop by the Recreation Center at the Williamsburg Inn and rent a bicycle (tandem bikes are also available). The Historic Area and the surroundings are filled with biking and hiking trails. Participate in British lawn bowling, croquet and other lawn games at the Williamsburg Inn. Families can enjoy free golf for children aged 15 and under on the nine-hole Spotswood Course at the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club when accompanied by an adult. Located on the grounds of the Woodlands Hotel & Suites complex are volleyball, miniature golf, shuffleboard, badminton and more. Note: bicycle rental is not available during the winter season.

Colonial Williamsburg's Tennis Club is located on the grounds of the Williamsburg Inn and features eight clay/Har Tru and hard surface courts. Guests are welcome to rent the courts, and tennis lessons are available with our head pro.
