Named for colonial Governor Alexander Spotswood, this is the elder Jones’s 1963 update of the Williamsburg Inn’s original 1947 nine-hole course. This course is fun for the whole family and great for juniors and beginners as well as challenging and fun for the avid golfer.
Called the “best short nine-hole course in the country” by GOLF Magazine, the par-31 Spotswood Course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and measures 1,865 yards with one par-5, two par-4 holes, and six par-3 holes, which vary from 90 to 215 yards.
