Try a new form of hands-on, 18th-century education and fun at our interpretive Ax Range. You’ll learn the history of ax throwing during the Revolutionary War, the uses of belt axes, and proper technique. After a safety briefing, get ready to take a swing at things yourself.
Programs occur daily at 10, 10:30, 11, and 11:30 in the morning, and 1, 1:30, 2, and 2:30 in the afternoon, weather permitting. Programs are 20 minutes long. Guests are encouraged to arrive early, but all participants must arrive on time for the required safety briefing.
Must be age 12 or older to participate. Guests younger than 17 must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older. All participants must wear closed-toe shoes.
