Opera in Williamsburg brings a world-class cast to the Kimball Theatre for a performance of a universal favorite: Verdi's "La Traviata." The intense emotions, clashing worlds, and gripping moral dilemmas are brought to life with amazingly beautiful music by the international award-winning cast, featuring soprano Emily Duncan-Brown in the role of Violetta. The conductor for this performance will be Paul Nadler of the Metropolitan Opera. Nadler is also the cofounder, with his friend and colleague Joan Dornemann, of the International Vocal Arts Institute. Music director: Jorge Parodi. Stage directors: Carlos Conde and Mathieu Guertin.
