Celebrate The Lights of Freedom, our breathtaking, heart pounding finale to Colonial Williamsburg’s Independence Day festivities from a VIP seat on Palace Green! Audience members will enjoy the evening’s pomp and ceremony, including Thomas Jefferson’s reading of the Declaration of Independence, a torch lit procession of the CW Fifes & Drums, patriotic sing-along and, of course, the thrilling fireworks display above the Governor’s Palace, from the best view in the historic area. The program begins at 9 p.m. with general admission seating available at 7 p.m. First come. First served. $25 per chair. Wristband required for entry. Children 2 years of age and under may sit in a lap. No coolers, pets, or open strollers permitted in the seating area.
The premium fireworks seating—previously part of a larger dining package—will occupy a small part of the Palace Green. The same free viewing areas will be available throughout the Historic Area, on a first come first served basis.
