    Youth Group Tours

    Participate, Explore & Engage

    Immerse your youth organization in the 18th century. Customize an adventure for your scout troop, youth club, or park and recreation center group. March with the militia, follow the Fifes and Drums, take part in a criminal trial, and meet carpenters, cooks, blacksmiths, and everyday townspeople. Explore the Revolutionary City and hear about this tumultuous time straight from the mouths of nation builders.

    Bring your band or choir

    Band and choir groups of 25–75 students may perform at specific Colonial Williamsburg public locations. Year-round venues include the courtyard at the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center and Merchants Square, adjacent to the Revolutionary City. Admission passes and reservations are required to secure performance venue.

    Bring your Scout Group

    Colonial Williamsburg’s American Cultures Merit Badge Tour:

    For $9.50 per Scout (minimum group size of 15), your troop will enjoy 3-hour guided tour lead by one of our certified Merit Badge instructors. During the tour, your troop will travel back in time to the 18th century and discover European, Native American and African cultures, their contributions to our country and how each influenced the America we are today. Uncover the various religions in colonial Virginia, and how they changed after independence and the declaration of religious freedom. Explore Indian Nation and traditions of this group. Gain a deeper knowledge of the early African American experience at the home of Peyton Randolph.
